3 流覽量 | A technology that can identify aggressive intent in people's voices is causing concern among civil liberties organizations across Europe. The Sigard system, made by Sound Intelligence, has the ability to "spot verbal aggression before it turns into a violent outbreak" enabling security personnel or police to intervene before incidents occur, according to the company's website. The technology has already been installed in several town centers in Holland and recently completed a trial in Coventry in the UK. But opponents of the system accuse it of infringing on people's privacy.
