Family hid on roof during gunman's rampage

According to police, family members hid on the roof of their home as Joseph Mercado allegedly fired shots inside. He killed two and wounded three. Joseph Mercado allegedly shot the father of his ex-girlfriend. He then shot the mother of the ex-girlfriend in the kitchen. He then went upstairs and shot his ex-girlfriend and her brother in their beds.
