Mexico captures alleged Zetas mastermind behind casino attack.

Taken into custody in Mexico.
Mexican authorities take the alleged leader of the notorious Zetas gang in Monterrey into custody.
Baltazar Saucedo Estrada, is believed to be behind the torching of a casino last year that killed 52 people.
Saucedo, also known as Dog Killer, had more than a million dollars bounty his head. He is suspected of ordering the firebombing of the Casino Royale after the owners refused to pay extortion money.
(SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) NUEVO LEON STATE SECURITY SPOKESMAN, JORGE DOMENE SAYING:
"At the moment he has confessed to events that have happened in recent months such as the murder of the director of Santa Catarina police and his involvement in the killing of commissioner Homero Salcido on January 5. Also, he participated in the disappearance and murder of transit police in the Santa Catarina municipality."
Authorities said Saucedo was detained while driving a stolen vehicle that contained large sums of money, cocaine and cannabis.
The Zetas, formed at the end of the 1990s by deserters from elite army forces, are believed to have been behind some of the bloodiest crimes against civilians in recent years.
