Firefighters battle Australian wildfire

Over 200 firefighters battled against a wildfire, near the town of Wilmington, 280 kilometres (174 miles) north of the city of Adelaide, in South Australia.
The blaze has burnt around 8,000 hectares (20,000 acres) of land.
The fire broke out on Wednesday, with wind and rough terrain hampering firefighters efforts.
The fire had not reached the town of Wilmington, but authorities told residents to be on alert in case a wind change moved the fire in their direction.
Hundreds of sheep and cattle died in the blaze.
Firefighters hosed the fire, attempting to slow it down ahead of high winds which were expected to arrive on Saturday, which would make the job of controlling the fire more difficult.
The CFS said that rain was expected late on Saturday which authorities hope will help control the fire.
