Laurent Grasso investigates shifting and multiple time frames in his conceptual art practice. Portrait of a Young Man, a title generically found in art history and literature, is borrowed from a work in the museum's collection by Francesco Botticini. For this exhibition, the artist selected works from the museum's collection of Renaissance and late medieval art to juxtapose with his paintings, videos, neons and sculptures. This exhibition is intended to read as a journey through time, as it's diverse elements weave connections between the past, the present and the future.
