  • Add to Madness frontman Suggs and 2008 X Factor finalist Laura White launched Christian Aid's Big Christmas Sing with a free concert at Old Spitalfields Market. Crowds gathered to watch them perform and switch on the Christmas lights. Suggs and Laura were joined by the talented all female Tamora String Quartet, community gospel choir Singology and award-winning soul-singer Juliyaa singing their favourite Christmas classics. Completing the line up were over 100 primary school children from the borough of Tower Hamlets who sang three carols, joined on stage by Laura. The event kicked off this year's Big Christmas Sing, a nationwide fundraiser that invites everyone who loves a good sing-a-long to Christmas hits, past and present, to raise money for Christian Aid.
