Tower of London: Loretta Minghella

On Thursday 11th November, Christian Aid held a special reception at the Chapel Royal in the Tower of London to share our vision to eradicate poverty. Today 1.5 billion people live in extreme poverty. Tonight nearly a billion people will go to bed hungry. The world can and must be changed so that poverty is ended: this is our core belief. Everything we do is about ending poverty and injustice: swiftly, effectively, fundamentally. It was a chance for supporters to share in our vision of the future unveiled and take this chance to meet personally with Christian Aid's Director. Guests had the opportunity to engage with Christian Aid's Directors and Specialist Country staff about the innovative, entrepreneurial work we are doing to end poverty.
