If you do not necessarily have the budget for silk, then you can still go with a really wonderful print, and do a full length drape. Or if you cannot do a full length drape, let us say that you are, you do not have windows that reach the floor. You can also still do a roman shade treatment, and that will bring a lot of texture and color into the room. Another thing you can consider for your bedroom would be a sheer treatment. It allows some privacy, but a lot of light to go through. You just have to decide how much of each you are going to need. A sheer treatment is a wonderful way to go, especially if you are on a budget, yet you want to maintain some elegance for your bedroom. Another thing to consider when you are going to do drapery, is your hardware treatment. There are many many selections of hardware out on the marketplace. Now you have got leathers and metals, and woods and stains, and all kinds of different rawed and rain treatments that you can put into your bedroom, your living room, your dining room. You can add a casualness, and/or an elegance, just by choosing the appropriate hardware.
