And take a look at this... a lamb born with five legs. The little lamb may be just a few days old, but seems to be getting around pretty well.

The lamb with five legs was born in northwest China's Gansu Province recently, the first ever at one local sheep farm.

The extra leg, which is undersized in comparison with the other four, is non-functioning. Fortunately, however, the extra limb does not hinder the four-day-old lamb's daily activities.

"The lamb is in good health. It can suckle and eat feed. Such deformed animals do exist, but are quite rare."

Limb deformities in lambs mainly result from abnormalities in embryonic development, the probability of which is only one in several million.
