Im Tatiana carrier and as you guys know our favorite jim Henson characters are coming to the big screen this week, so I thought we would get to the coolest muppets on earth! Here are five fun facts I bet you didn't know! . 1. According to Jason Segel, Kermit and Miss Piggy are "together off screen...Off screen they're a proper couple." 2. The first Kermit was made out of Jim Henson's mother's coat and some ping pong balls. 3. The Muppets Movie was a green set in many ways, but most notably with an environmental steward who made sure everything was recycled properly. The crew was provided with reusable aluminum water bottles and all the paper supplies were made from recycled materials and were compostable. 4. Jim Henson didn't even really know what Gonzo is. Gonzo has been referred to as a "Whatever," a "Weirdo," and an alien in various episodes of the Muppet Show, Muppet Babies, and Muppet movies. 5. Celebrity guests on the Muppet Show would often ask to appear in scenes with their favorite Muppets. Miss Piggy was the most popular request, with Animal coming in at a close second. .
