Prophetic and N.E.R.D. Summerfest

Like many Milwaukeeans, I’ve always loved seeing my favorite artists at Summerfest but this year was especially epic. My man, Prophetic, got the opportunity to open along with Dj Mad Hatter and Kid Cut Up for N.E.R.D. on the Miller Stage. Oh how I miss the days I worked security there, dragging drunkards kicking and screaming out of the back gate for fighting over a spot on the bleachers. Good times.

I spent the whole day with Prophetic documenting it for him, everything from hanging out on the block, to practice, to chilling back stage in the N.E.R.D. dressing room. Yes, we did get a chance to sit with Shae, Pharrell, Fam-Lay and the crew but the pinnacle moment of the day was when I got the clearance to film part of the N.E.R.D. set which led to the video you see above.
