Temporary floodwater barrier is being constructed at the city's second largest airport, which has been closed for nearly three weeks due to the ongoing floods.Authorities say it might still take two months before it reopens.HThe Don Mueang Airport authorities said workers were still using giant sandbags to build up a makeshift dyke at the runway and taxiway at the east side of the airport.The construction is expected to be completed by Tuesday.Repair and restoration work would begin after the waters were drained out and it would take about 60 days to reopen the airport.Flight operations at the domestic airport have been halted since Oct. 25 after floodwaters swamped its runways.
