New Assassin's Creed Game Confirmed For 2012 official

Ubisoft has confirmed that yes, there will be another Assassin's Creed coming next year. . In an investor call yesterday, Ubisoft's CEO confirmed that another game is in the works and that it will be a "major" installment in the series. When I spoke with Creative Director Alex Amancio at the Revelations Single-Player preview event, we discussed the end of Desmond's storyline, but he did not give me any specifics. . Merely stating that the first few games in the franchise set up a series of events that will eventually end in December 2012. So obviously Ubisoft needs to wrap up Desmond's story before then, hence, another Assassin's Creed. . But what we don't know is where and when this game will take place. Amancio was clear that Revelations will be the end of Ezio's storyline and clearly Altair has been out of the picture for a while now. After seeing a sneak peak of the animated short "Embers" I have a few theories about where I think the series is headed but I'd like to hear yours! . Let me know what you guys think!
