Alice Cooper helps gets Parliament rocking.
The American rocker visited MPs to help promote this year's 'Rock the House' campaign.
'Rock The House' is a UK Parliamentary competition, created by Mike Weatherley MP, to raise awareness to the issue of intellectual property rights and the importance of live music in the country.
SOUNDBITE: Alice Cooper, musician, saying (English):
"I think it's the greatest thing in the world, for one reason is, English is synonymous with great live bands. The reason that American bands are even in bands is because of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones and The Who and bands like that. There's a whole young crop of bands coming, and you can't say England without thinking about live bands."
Cooper says the competition has his continued support.
SOUNDBITE: Alice Cooper, musician, saying (English):
"Absolutely. Absolutely. Any time he needs me to come in and judge a contest, let me know."
SOUNDBITE: Mike Weatherley, MP for Hove and Portslade, saying (English):
"Perfect. Absolutely perfect."
