Paul Kagame’s official visit in France remains a scandal not only for French military and political leadership under François Mitterrand who tried to prevent a genocide but also for African people who fight against dictators. Why is a Western leader like Nicolas Sarkozy applying "double standards" for Khadafi in Libya and Kagame in Rwanda ? Fortunately, French Foreign minister Alain Juppé is not to be compared with his predecessor, Bernard Kouchner, who always showed to be a friend of Kagame whereas all supporters and friends of Rwandese president are choosing exile when not deported. Gerald Gahima, former Rwandese prosecutor general, is one of them interviewed in Paris on September 12 by Joël-François Dumont for European-Security.com.
