Style Guide: Packing for Business Trip - as part of the Women's Style series by GeoBeats. The trick to successful packing for a business trip or any trip really, is mixing and matching. You want to choose items that you can wear at least twice. For instance, if you bring a pair of heels, you want those heels to go with both your suit and say, a pair of jeans, a tank and a cardigan. Now that cardigan can be worn over a sheath with those heels. If you bring maybe a striped blazer, maybe that blazer can go both over the sheath and with another top and the jeans for off times, or maybe you can pair it with the suit pants. The best way to keep your packing light, is to keep your pallet tight. So, bring colors that go with blacks, greys and navies or just bring all earth tones and muted colors. Remember, you might be going from a hotel lobby to a casual lunch and then to a board room. You want to make sure you choose items that are versatile. You should be able to maybe throw on a sweater over the top and it will look more professional that way. Maybe you just need to change out your earrings. Just remember to think versatile. That is very important.
