Rough cut (No reporter narration).
A 32 year old U.S. man was mauled to death by a rogue three metre (9.8 feet) white pointer shark while diving alone the coast of Western Australia on Saturday (October 22).
Two of the divers friends were onboard a private diving vessel and watched in horror as the man's body surfaced with traumatic injuries.
Helicopters were out searching the waters to destroy the shark.
The catch-to-kill order was issued by West Australian Fisheries Minister, Norman Moore, to protect public safety, as this is the third fatal shark attack in Western Australia over the past few months.
