Treasure Island The Musical was an original creation produced by Drama Dock in 2005. A loose adaptation from Robert Louis Stevenson's Novel, this version added women and children to the cast that dress as males in order to board the Hispanolia - The "Treasure" in this version was basically symbolic for individual "desire", and the adventure is all the crazy things people do in order to get those desires met.
This story will make you laugh, and cry. Although mostly a comedy, there is also a beautiful love story.
I mean, come on, you can't have "desire", and not have a love story.
