Selena Gomez has reportedly received a death threat that is so serious the Los Angeles Police Department's Threat Management Unit is on the case - this according to online tabloid TMZ. Gomez - who is the girlfriend of Justin Bieber - has obtained a restraining order against the man, who allegedly told his doctor he was going to kill Gomez.
Actress and social activist Susan Sarandon has provoked criticism from both Catholic and Jewish groups after reportedly calling Pope Benedict a Nazi during a public discussion at a film festival. The Catholic League of America was quick to slam Sarandon for her words, releasing a statement that read, "Susan Sarandon's ignorance is willful: those who have hatred in their veins are not interested in the truth."
