SOUNDBITE: Lang, Lang, pianist, saying (English):
"We have been preparing this event for a long time and I'm just so glad that finally it works. And so it's going to be this weekend and it will be all over America and all of Europe and also partly Asia. So this will be a new milestone in my career and to share music live in the cinema, which is my favorite place to be."
Critics have described Lang Lang's style as flashy and even have accused him of showboating.
When asked how he felt about the accusations, Lang Lang found it hard to respond.
SOUNDBITE: Lang, Lang, pianist, saying (Mandarin):
"As an artist you will face a lot of reviews, most of them are very positive, but some are controversial, I think it's very common. The most important thing is when we are performing, are we sincere or are we acting? I think sincere performance is very different from artificial acting or making things up. So every day we have to remind ourselves to be sincere, down to the earth, with our whole heart."
Lang Lang's new CD Liszt - My Piano Hero is in stores now.
