Brian Jennings & his daughter Joan Jennings, two americans tourists, are on a trip of discovering India.Fascinated by the Indian experience, what makes their trip truly memorable was their this encounter with Mahatma Gandhi. One morning, on a pedestrain walk of a busy street constituting the frontage of a waste paper mart, lies a damaged statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Broken, dirty & uncared for! A foreign tourist, middle-aged man with his daughter and an Indian tourist guide passing by the roadside see the damaged Gandhi statue. They look at the statue rudely shocked and ask the man who runs the waste mart as to why the statue of Mr.Gandhi was abandoned there without care or respect. He replies that it had been lying there for long time and other than that he didn't know anything more about it.The foreigners are deeply disappointed. They speak about the achievements of Mr.Gandhi and their love and respect for him. They then decide to renovate the statue and have it properly placed in a school. They set to work cleaning the statue and even pay money for taking the statue with them. the statue is then transported to a school nearby. Inside the school campus the statue of Mr.Gandhi is properly placed on a table (temporarly) besides the Flag post. The now happy foreigner standing in front of the school children, makes a small speech imploring the students to read more about Mr.Gandhi and follow the path shown by him. The statue of Mr.Gandhi finally finds its perfect place of rest.
