Unusual Places for Art in Home

Unusual Places for Art in Home - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. A question that I get a lot from people is, “How can I have art in unexpected places?” I think this is something that is cool, and it is funky and it can bring inspiration, and it can help people think about ways to engage their eyes and their minds in unexpected ways. For example, this is a print that was put on top of the stove, so this is not for everybody, I know, but it is very cool and it is original. It is just done with the purpose of making people think about ways of doing it and taking this concept and adapting it to their own lives. I believe that, for me, every little space is an excuse to have some art. This is a bathroom with some cool prints. It is just black and white photography, and I think it is very cool. It is elegant and it is sober, and at the same time conveys the idea, “I am playful, I am still thinking of decorating everything, and I am not thinking that my house is an afterthought.” I like when things are planned, but I also like that this is subtle. It is one of the very few things that I do that does not have a ton of color, but it still feels right. This is a tiny little space. This is just a tiny little piece of wall, and I was thinking, “This has to be used. This has to be used somehow, and it has to have some art, because I do not like seeing it bare, and I do not like seeing it blank. I think it can add some funkiness: and a little table, and a little vignette, and create some color, and have some art. It makes me happy, and every time I pass by, I say, “You know what? I was right. This needed something. So, Art is always welcomed in any space that you have. I encourage people to think out of the box and add art in their lives all the time. It makes me happy, and I am sure it will make you happy, too.
