Murray trial day five, Hurley engaged official
Monday (October 03) marks day five in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson's doctor, Conrad Murray. Siblings Janet, Tito, and Jermaine all arrived to the courthouse. The day started with the continued questioning of ER doctor Richelle Cooper, who testified that Murray never mentioned that he had given the singer the powerful anesthetic propofol - the drug that ultimately caused his death.
In other Jackson news, a Cirque du Soleil show featuring the music of Michael Jackson launched in Montreal. "Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour" featured performers dancing, contorting themselves, and flying through the air to some of the singer's greatest hits. After Montreal, the tour is set to hit 47 cities before setting up shop in Las Vegas.
Elizabeth Hurley and Australian cricketer Shane Warne are engaged. British newspapers showed pictures of Hurley wearing a large engagement ring while she watched Warne playing. The couple have been together for 10 months. Hurley dated actor Hugh Grant for more than a decade and was previously married to Indian businessman Arun Nayar.
Finally, look closer - that's not the real Rihanna. Madame Tussauds London unveiled a wax replica of the pop star complete with her fire red hair, and signature sexy looks. It took a team of 20 people 3 months to create the statue.
