NEW YORK - It's getting hot in here! Mara Hoffman brought the tropics into her Spring/Summer 2012 collection for New York Fashion Week, and why not? She's already shown in Miami, and color is a huge trend this year. Mara's collection was based on the strong women of Mexico, including painter Frida Kahlo and she used custom made silk prints manufactured right in the United States to showcase tribal, graphic, geometric, neon, embroidered, and beaded designs. The collection included jumpsuits, skirts, dresses, and caftans.
