LONDON - We're used to seeing the dress over pants look from designer Osman Yousefzada --you could even say it's the designer's signature. We're also used to seeing some Asian-inspired trends (which we saw a bit this time around with the prints on the top half of the dresses.) The interesting thing that Osman did this year was to give it a lighter and sexier appeal, with colors like yellow, pink, cream, and olive green. He also used embroidery and jacquard to convey his beautiful ready-to-wear ideas. The result was something flowy, soft, and not overtly sexy (though the slits helped and the pleats made it look that much more detailed.) Pants were crisper, but thin, with long lines and they fell underneath drapey blouses and dresses. Osman got rid of some of the formal looks of the past and result seems to garner the crowd's seal of approval.
