An Israeli City Park Presents Interesting Innovations

Interesting technologies from Israeli and international companies can be found in this Israeli city park, some of which are very promising.

The mayor of the hosting city, Rishon Le Zion, personally demonstrated how one of these devices works.

This device makes the person who uses it stronger.

Panasonic presents its biggest 3D screens and projector.

[Miki Klein, Panasonic Products Manager, Israel]:
"We have the biggest screen in the world, 103 inches. We have now the newest projector of Panasonic, 3D projector."

Various robots are presented here showing the progress made in robotics in recent years.

Saya is a human secretary robot made by Japanese scientists.

[Dr. Kobayashi Hiroshi, Tokyo University of Science]:
"I want to realize emotional and natural communication between human and robot…of course, the voice is very important but also the facial expressions are very important."
 
Saya is one of the biggest attractions for the audience here - especially for the children.
 
Everyone tries to speak with her. But she can't reply properly - something that her creators anticipated.

"Because of noise…many noise…she is confused."

This device is especially interesting because it's not just talking about future technologies but also learning from the lessons and experience of past generations.

[Inon Retig, Designer, D-Vision]:
"It's based on a lot of Hindu methods, a lot of Indian methods of chakras and aura and energetic fields.”

The installation named "Ultra Gamma: Design with Unseen Waves" is based on the concept that, 50 years from now, waves will be discovered at a frequency currently unknown to mankind.

The designers believe that the future will bring understanding regarding many hidden human abilities leading to positive change in our lives...
