Millennia Nova is a musical duo from Munich .
Mathias Neuhauser and Michael Meinl had met through a mutual friend. They worked together on an advertising jingle and became good friends. They met the decision to start a band - even though both came from totally different musical realms. While Neuhauser rather with ska and punk feel at home, Meinl came from the area of techno and house . The clash of these two worlds led to a symbiosis of electronic music, independent , rock , pop and ambient .
Since the two Munich, according to its own statements themselves can not sing, they undertake for their musical works of guest singers. For the third album Narcotic Wide Screen Vista, the duo was assisted by Thomas Hanreich ( Vivid ), Chris Neuburger, Kelli Ali (ex- Sneaker Pimps ), Alison (The Beangrowers ) and rock icon Iggy Pop .
