Brazil has one of the world's fastest-growing economies. The new super-port of Açu, 200 kilometers north of Rio de Janeiro, is being built as a symbol of this boom. The developer is the investor Eike Batista, CEO of the Grupo EBX holding company.He wants to export oil from the port in tankers his concern builds at its own shipyard on site.
