Get a (spiritual) grip man, you desire to analyze the acts of the Almighty with your finite brain!! He has made it simple for those who choose to believe. Skeptics are hence naturally excluded (though God had mercy on one... ME!).
I pray that Jesus shows you the light, and you shall see wisdom higher than your finite brain.

If the author of this document knew the power of God, he'll be begging for forgiveness now.
Even if it be verifiable that Benny exaggerated once (interesting to see what pains someone took to investigate him!) Benny, or any christian for that matter, does not claim to be infallible! What the author will find a mystery is that God has put this power/TREASURE IN EARTHEN(frail/fallible) VESSELS (2Cor4:7) and not in perfect ones, so that the glory will be of God and not of ourselves. This remains the most confounding factor for non-believers.
Regarding the miracles, you have only echoed the very words of Jesus' own brothers!! (John7:4) Why does God not put Himself on display? Simple answer.. because HE IS GOD, and He does not have to prove Himself to you.
Believe, and be saved... reject Him and ...well you're already damned since Adam so nothing really changes!
Jesus is very, very real, and he still works miracles today!!!!
