LG Marquee (Sprint) live first look and hands-on

MobileBurn.com - The LG Marquee for Sprint is the U.S. edition of the Optimus Black that was released globally earlier this year. Like the Black, its claim to fame is its 4-inch NOVA display, which LG says is one of the brightest on the market at a 700nit rating. The Marquee is powered by a single-core, 1GHz processor, and it runs Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread, though it is lacking the LG interface we saw on the Optimus Black. The Marquee is pretty much all plastic, but thanks to this it is remarkably light in the hand. A 5 megapixel autofocus camera with flash is on the back, while a 2 megapixel unit is up front for video calling. Sprint will be releasing the Marquee on October 2 for $99.99 after rebate and a new two-year agreement, though customers can place a pre-order for the phone beginning September 20.
