Last week, the U.S. Department of Treasury included Venezuelan officials on a list of drug traffickers for their alleged support of Colombian insurgent groups. President Chavez dismissed the accusations and called for the U.S. government's officials to be sanctioned instead over their terrorist actions in other countries.
