A flood in a southwest Chinese coal mine has left 10 miners dead, with two more still missing.

The Chinese regime's Xinhua News Agency reports that 10 bodies of miners killed in the flood have now been recovered. The mine is on the outskirts of Dazhou City, in Sichuan Province. The flood apparently occurred one week ago—but news about it has only emerged now.

There is no official explanation for the Chinese regime media's delayed reporting. The mine's owner and a safety official have reportedly been apprehended by local police.
