23rd August 2011. A full military funeral has been held in Weymouth, Dorset, for Royal Marine James Wright, 22, who was fatally injured by a grenade in Afghanistan. The 22-year-old died in hospital after the grenade was thrown into his patrol's checkpoint in Helmand Province on 5th August 2011. The funeral was held at St John's Church in Marine Wright's hometown. After the military service, there was a private cremation.
