This video describes a technique in which the still frozen foie gras is placed in a cold pan to begin the cooking process. Once the foie gras is in the pan, the heat is turned to medium high. It takes about 5 - 6 minutes to cook the foie gras and the result is a perfectly cooked piece of foie gras which is golden on the outside and cooked perfectly on the inside.
