Emperor Tetras. Keeping Emperor Tetras in a 40 gallon tank
  • 13 years ago
fishtanktv.com - My buddy Steve had been talking about doing this 40 gallon planted tank up for a while. I am glad he finally got it rolling. Infact this was the first time I got to see it. We had talked about if for an entire car ride to the snowboarding trip where i smashed my lung. The point is that he had a plan The original plan was to do only one species and only round leaf plants. I think it worked out according to the plan pretty nicely. The ludwigia turned out really well. What I like most about this tank is the emperor tetras. They are awesome. I had always heard that emperor tetras were one of the better tetras, but this ones are great. What I like is a few things. One. He only has the emperor Tetras in this tank. Nothing more. Two. The Emperor tetras reflect the different color of light off of the lights in his tank. He has a blue and a pink bulb and they almost change colors when they swim from the front of the tank to the back. its a great tank. I am curious to see what he does for a bottom feeder. I say tiny cory cats. and now I want some Emperor Tetras.
