Health Management Associates Incorporated - symbol HMA - reported its consolidated financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, posting Net Revenue of nearly $1.40 Billion dollars, a 13% increase year-over-year while Diluted earnings per share increased 25.0% to $0.20 compared to the same period a year ago. For the second quarter 2011, TrueBlue Incorporated - symbol TBI - posted revenue of $320 million, an increase of 12 percent, compared to the same period the prior year. and finally, Curtiss-Wright Corporation - symbol CW - has been awarded a contract by Parker Hannifin for structural development, assembly and test of the aft strut fairing hydraulic module for use on the Boeing 787 airplane. The contract extends an existing agreement for the manufacture of this product through the end of 2021. The combined value of the contract and prior agreements over the lifetime of the platform is estimated to be approximately $112 million.
