    "Painted Storks, Lesser, Median and Greater Egrets in Gujarat reservoir. Painted Stork is a large wading bird in the stork family. Scientific name of Painted Stork is Mycteria leucocephala. It is found in the wetlands of the plains of tropical Asia south of the Himalayas in South Asia and extending into Southeast Asia. This large stork has a heavy yellow bill with a down-curved tip. Painted Storks feed in groups in shallow wetlands. Ibis is a long-legged wading bird in the family Threskiornithidae. Ibis has long down curved bills, and usually feed as a group. Scientific name of Ibis is Threskiornis molucca. Grey Heron is a wading bird of the heron family Ardeidae. It is a large bird, standing 90--100 cm tall, with a 175--195 cm wingspan and a weight of 1--2 kg. It feeds in shallow water, catching fish, frogs, and insects with its long bill. Scientific name of Grey heron is Ardea cinerea. Egret is a name which is given to several species of herons. Scientific name of egret is Casmerodius albus.
