In 2010, the World's Commonwealth Games will be held in New Delhi, India. This is the first time in history that India will host the games. The games will be watched by over 2 billion people, worldwide. In order to broadcast the games, an International Broadcasting Center was created. The IBC will act as the media hub for the games that takes place Oct. 3rd-14th. This year's games will be the first ever to be broadcast in full HD. The IBC is the first ever of its kind and is seen as a landmark in technical design and HD broadcasting. Watch the 2010 Commonwealth Games broadcast live from New Delhi, India October 3rd -14th. The IBC was inaugurated on the 20th of September, at 3:30 pm by the Honorable Minister for Information and Broadcasting of the Government of India - Ms. Ambika Soni, in the presence of Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, B. S. Lalli and Aruna Sharma of Doordarshan, the national broadcaster. The rights holders covering the Commonwealth Games include: Mai TV, Network Ten, Foxtel, CBC, Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, Doordarshan, Namibia Broadcasting Corporation, Sky Network Television, Prime, Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria, Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation, South Africa Broadcasting Corporation, Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, Video Sound Inc, United States. Participating Nations of the Commonwealth Games include Afghanistan ,Algeria, Anguilla , Antigua and Barbuda , Australia , Bahamas, Bahrain, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cameroon, Canada, Cayman Islands, Christmas Island, Cook Islands, Cyprus, Dominica, England, Eritrea, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gambia, Ghana, Gibraltar Etc
