Tai Chi: Playing Guitar to Brush Knee and Push - part of the women's fitness video series by GeoBeats.

Hello, my name is Tiffany Chen, I am from William C.C. Chen's Tai Chi Chuan. We are going to work on Play the Guitar transitioning into Brush Knee and Push.

To begin this segment I would like you to turn to your left. Left foot in front, right leg behind. Right palm up in front of you, relaxed. Left palm right by the hip. Want to raise up the right foot, set it back down. Sink all the weight into the right leg, the left arm floats up.

Elbows don't move up, you are actually sinking below the level of the elbows. And again I want you to feel the thighs squeezed together and the elbows rolled down. Now we are going to turn to the right. Drop the right, bring the left over and turn back to the left. Drop the left, bring the right back over.

Step out with the left but try and use the right leg to help move the left leg out to the side, set it down gently, sink into the left foot and brush knee and push. Right palm comes out in front of you, left palm brushes over the thigh. And this completes the segment of movements.
