Narayana Murthy (Satyanarayana) is a well settled happy man with a wife (Pandari Bai) and a son (A.N.R). In the past he sends away his daughter (Vijayasanthi) for loving a man and going to bear his child. Sridevi comes to the house posing as a daughter of a woman whom he loved in his young days. Narayana Murthy is in a dilemma. The morals he preaches has been boomeranged to his life.
