Roof of a foreclosed home that has been ruined by pigeons & their droppings

    by pigeonsbegone

A house that has been foreclosed typically sits vacant for months, sometimes even years. These quiet properties become the perfect place for pigeons to take up residency and if left to their own devices can cause major damage in a realtively short amount of time. Pigeons nest within their own feces. Their feces are high in urea, which is highly acidic. As you will see in the video, those acidic droppings have eaten into the roofing materials resulting in large portions of this roof having to be replaced. Properties such as this once again demonstrate that when it comes to pigeon problems, addressing it correctly sooner rather than later is your best and least expensive option in the long run.
