PKG The Jianfu Palace in the Forbidden City, the one-time home of ancient Chinese emperors in Beijing, had reportedly set up a lucrative private members club. The Beijing News reported Sunday that the Forbidden City, now a famous tourist attraction, last month handed out registration forms for the club. Starting last Saturday, a mysterious informant began to leak photos of the private club on his microblog, the Chinese equivalent to twitter. He alleged the Palace Museum handed out registration forms for the exclusive 500-member club inside the Jianfu Palace. The entry fee was about 154,000 US dollars.
