Episode One: Stemming the Tide
New Orleans

In the heart of New Orleans, Sergeant Bruce Little and his young but dedicated narcotics team work relentlessly to stem the tide of the drug trade. Trained as a member of the A-team Special Forces in the Green Berets, Bruce knows extreme situations, and thrives on the thrill. “Drugs are tearing this city apart”, he says, “and I’m going to continue targeting them until the last day of my career”. Detective Skip Daughtry works the other side of the dope world – the burglary beat. “Everything’s tied into narcotics – burglaries, robberies, everything”, explains Skip. As Bruce and his team energetically target street level dealers to “work up the chain” to a big time dealer, Skip determinedly tracks down leads to a young crack addict, and steers him into a rehab program.

Episode Two: Daywatch
San Francisco

For the men and women of the San Francisco Police Department’s Narcotics Division, the streets of San Francisco make for a tough battleground in the country’s war on drugs. A native of the city’s Mission District, Officer Dean “Dino” Marcic, holds drugs and gangs responsible for his old neighborhood’s decline. Whether he’s tackling a suspected drug dealer during a high-energy raid or interrogating an addicted heroin “hype”, Dino’s passion for the work is clear.
