These Furrows return with 'Duke', the first single from their anticipated debut album due later this year. The single is accompanied by another new cut in the form of 'Clarity'.

'Clarity' is also due to be backed by the first part of a tableaux of viral videos accompanying These Furrows' new releases - creating an album of visual material to run alongside their musical output.

Having recorded their debut album with Tony Platt (AC/DC, Bob Marley), and having it mixed by Chris Sheldon (Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters), 'Duke' is the first example of the band's monumental step up from previous single 'Without Manner'.

'Clarity', finds the band showing an altogether more introspective side, displaying an enviable diversity in their abilities as songwriters. Building from a heartbreaking piano line and acoustic guitar combination, the track takes flight with a picturesque instrumental deluge of delicate strings and teasing moments of blistering noise tethered along, again, by Darryl's beautifully naïve vocals. Its beautifully blistering conclusion displays an almighty depth in sound -- a sound that is only set to affirm These Furrows as an important act for years to come.

The track's beauty is enhanced by the first promo video for the album -- a short story based on the return of a ballet dancer to her dance sanctuary, using the track to rekindle her fond memories and find solace in a brief moment of artistic renaissance.
