Mariah Carey - Without You

En 1993, Mariah épousa Tommy Mottola. Carey sortit son quatrième album "Music Box", album qui va révéler Mariah Carey dans beaucoup de pays. Les deux premiers singles de l'album, "Dreamlover" et "Hero" se classeront tous deux premiers des Charts US.Suivent "Without You" (une reprise d'après Badfinger) et "Anytime You Need A Friend", ce dernier étant un morceau très gospel, un style que Carey affectionne tout particulièrement. A noter que "Without You" est le plus gros succès de Mariah Carey en Europe. Il fut n°1 dans de très nombreux pays : Royaume-Uni, Allemagne, Italie, Suisse, Pays-Bas, Belgique... Cet album est à ce jour son plus vendu : 27,5 millions d'albums dans le monde. Mariah fit ainsi sa première tournée, le Music Box Tour,exclusivement aux Etats-Unis.
