Hi I'm Linda with Fitness 19. I'm going to show you how to do a Squat on a Smith Machine. A Smith Machine has a gliding bar. It goes up and down. You can add weights to either side so you have resistance depending on what your level of activity is. I've decided to kick it up in notch and put a Medicine Ball between my knees. It makes you work your inner thighs, as well as your Quadriceps, your Hamstrings, and your Glutes. So we're going to go down to a 90 degree, back up, back down, back up. You're going to try to do at least 12 to 15. You're working the lower body and its the largest muscle group that you have. So you're going to want to really try to work it out to a 12 to 15. Keep your back straight. Legs down 90 degrees, take it back up. And that's how you do the squat.
