Local police sent some 300 policemen to the mountain to search for the missing after receiving a call for help. 37 of the stranded were rescued before 3:40 a.m. Monday, while the remaining two were not found until 8 a.m. Police in a rescue helicopter noticed a light being reflected by the remaining two as a distress signal, and dropped the cable to lift them off the mountain.
