San Onofre nuclear power plant: built near fault lines ...

USA - NUCLEAR : California is famous for its beautiful beaches. But tucked between Los Angeles and San Diego, is the San Onofre nuclear power plant, one of two atomic stations along America ’s Pacific Coast. Local environmental groups are worried about what could happen if a severe earthquake strikes here. They say this plant has too much in common with the Fukashima reactors in Japan. They are both near fault lines and both close to the ocean.
