SUPER-RUGBY 2011 WEEK 5 http://ruggachick.com/http://twitter.com/RuggaChick My Match Report: The SHARKS and the CHIEFS kicked off Round five’s action in HAMILTON. The SHARKS got a reality check when the CHIEFS handed them their 1st defeat of the season. LAMBIE was the SHARKS only hope, but the main battle was amongst the forwards. It was a try-less game, but a penalty right at the end... SEALED the win for the CHIEFS. Then in Brisbane the REDS got things on with the new-comers The REBELS hardly featured in this game and from the 1st minute the REDS were on fire! 7 tries for the REDS, explains the amount of tackles missed by the REBELS, with CIPRIANI’S penalty being the only point on the scoreboard. Well the REDS outplayed and outscored them, good & solid. In DUNEDIN the HIGHLANDERS and the CRUSADERS gave each other a go! The HIGHLANDERS put up a huge a fight in the 1st half, all though it didn’t seem to be BROWN’S kicking day! The CRUSADER’S were fired up in the 2nd half and all of a sudden it was TRY-TIME!!! They wasted no time to dot down 6 tries... leaving the HIGHLANDERS with another loss! The CANES had a nightmare against the BLUES. The BLUES had the advantage for most of the game, but just when it looked like the CANES got back into the game, all hell broke loose... A Yellow card for the CANES captain in his 100th game and 3 tries further the BLUES walked away with a bonus point victory. The CHEETAHS got their act together when they gave the TAHS a whipping in SYDNEY to clinch their 1st win for the season. BRUSSOW worked his magic, to help his team out-score the TAHS! 2 tries to none and placed the home-side under huge pressure, ... which led to stupid mistakes. At Ellis Park the LIONS welcomed the FORCE One week up and the next week down for the LIONS... Whilst the FORCE finally secured their 1st win of the season. It was wet on the field, but the FORCE still went out to score 2 tries and both teams conceded a fair amount a penalties. A Yellow card for O’CONNOR ...
