Take a tour of Nauener Tor in Potsdam, Germany – part of the World’s Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. Of the city gates that once led into Potsdam, only three have been preserved today. The Nauener Tor is one of these three gates and wears its age very well. The current gate was built in 1755, in English Gothic Revival style of architecture, and is the third of its kind to have been constructed. Despite being over 250 years old, the Nauener Tor still gleams pristinely as if it were new. Though their shared wall is gone, the gates are still connected by a walkway. The Nauener Tor is surrounded by many places to eat, shop, or meet with friends.
